Searching for Partners

The Association of Entrepreneurship Promotion, through its education, counseling and information activities and undertaking social and economic initiatives, supports and promotes development of the South-East of Poland. Its activity is oriented towards providing comprehensive support first of all to entrepreneurs, mainly representing SME sector, but also to individual beneficiaries, interested in taking advantages of possibilities resulting from Polish membership of the European Union.

The Association is the founder of two higher education institutions: University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow and College of Management and Business Administration in Zamosc. Both institutions are involved in numerous activities concerning education and doing research. They are also implementing various projects, on regional, national or international level, which include distance learning, usage of newest computer technologies in education and training and usage of IT in other sectors of economy.

The Association together with the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow and with College of Management and Business Administration in Zamosc creates an education and counseling consortium. The consortium is searching for national and international partners to submit and execute projects, financially supported by the European Commission or from other sources.

Regional policy and economy
Permanent and balanced development in regions (the project aim is developing the theory of permanent and balanced development and also preparing the variant update of the development strategy of Podkarpackie voievodship and Lubelskie voievodship according to the rules of balanced development).

Economic conditions research (the main goal of the research is to work out the methodology for comprehensive assessment of the economic conditions in region. Currently, the research is doing in Podkarpackie voievodship, Lubelskie voievodship and Podlaskie voievodship).

The World Economic Survey, Research for Poland (the project aim is presenting the current assessment and also the forecast for the main macroeconomic indicators. The project consists in independent examination of 50 experts from Poland. The project is a part of international project executed by Ifo Institute from Munich).

Labour market
The problems of regional labour market, taking into consideration particularly: problem of unemployment and active forms of combating unemployment; problem of intellectual labour market; individual and social aspects of creation the enterprising attitudes; employment of higher education graduates. Currently, the academic career office in Zamosc is running the project “Professional activity of students and higher education graduates in Zamosc neighbourhood”.

Moreover, we are searching for national and international partners to organize vocational interim periods for young people under 26. Within the project we are going to enable improving vocational skills through vocational training and counseling for people, who are looking for a job. They will get an opportunity to acquire professional experience in enterprises. We are going to submit the project proposal under Program Phare 2002 Social and Economy Cohesion – Human Resources Development “Promoting the increase of employment among youths for legal entities do not function for achieving net profits”.
